LFA HB 2 BL

The LFA HB 2 BL is one of the largest semi-automatic horizontal balers in the Landfill Alternatives range. Designed for high-volume waste handling, it can process a wide range of materials including cardboard, paper, plastic film, PET bottles, rigid plastics, E-waste, and other recyclables. It is commonly used by waste recyclers, logistics hubs, and large businesses producing substantial waste volumes.

Powered by a 15kW motor and delivering 60 tonnes of compaction force, the LFA HB 2 BL produces dense, mill-size bales weighing up to 650kg. The full ejection system completely clears the chamber after each bale, allowing operators to switch between different waste streams quickly and without contamination.

The hydraulic portcullis door enables fully automatic ejection at the push of a button, increasing throughput and reducing manual handling. Once tied off using the horizontal four-wire tying system, the baler opens the door, ejects the bale, and closes automatically. Because the door moves vertically rather than side-hinged, multiple bales can be ejected onto a bale tray before being removed for storage, improving workflow efficiency.

The integrated bin lift further enhances productivity by reducing manual labour and allowing easy loading. It can lift 1100L wheelie bins weighing up to 450kg via a trunnion or comb lift system, making it ideal for sites looking to streamline waste handling.
