LFA HB 1

The LFA HB 1 is one of the most versatile semi-automatic horizontal balers in the Landfill Alternatives range. Designed for medium to large-scale operations, it can process a wide variety of materials including cardboard, paper, plastic film, PET bottles, rigid plastics, E-waste and other recyclables. With a powerful 15kW motor and 60 tonnes of compaction force, it produces dense, mill-size bales weighing between 500kg and 550kg.

Built for performance and efficiency, the LFA HB 1 features a full bale ejection system, ideal for handling multiple waste streams without cross-contamination. Its hydraulic portcullis door allows for automatic ejection at the push of a button, while the upgraded four-wire horizontal tying system ensures secure and consistent bale integrity. The vertical door design also allows several bales to be ejected onto a bale tray before being removed for storage, improving workflow and reducing handling time.

Engineered for reliability, the LFA HB 1 includes intelligent automation such as a magic eye sensor for automatic cycling, bale full and jam beacons, and simple user controls. With a Hardox® castellated floor for long life and an IP65 rating, the baler is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
