LFA HB 2

The LFA HB 2 is one of the largest semi-automatic horizontal balers in the Landfill Alternatives range. Built for high-capacity waste handling, it can process a wide variety of materials including cardboard, paper, plastic film, PET bottles, rigid plastics, E-waste and other recyclables. It is commonly used by waste recyclers, logistics hubs, and large businesses generating substantial volumes of waste.

Powered by a 15kW motor and delivering 60 tonnes of compaction force, the LFA HB 2 produces dense, mill-size bales weighing up to 650kg. The full ejection system completely clears the chamber after each bale, allowing operators to switch between materials quickly and avoid contamination between waste streams.

The hydraulic portcullis door enables automatic bale ejection at the push of a button, reducing manual handling and improving throughput. Once tied off using the upgraded horizontal tying system, the baler automatically opens the door, ejects the bale, and closes it again ready for the next load. Because the door moves vertically rather than side-hinged, it can eject multiple bales onto a bale tray before collection, improving workflow efficiency and reducing downtime.
